For the last three days I have been trying to write this entry. I got sidetracked, tired, and prepared for the trip to Allentown.

On Monday it was an all-around day to stay in my pajamas. I watched TV, got on the computer. Did some filing. I do have more. Made some phone calls. Then did some cleaning as well

It is a beautiful Friday morning. It's about 68° sunny and some clouds were supposed to be cloudy all day. I don't have much planned for today except housekeeping trying to pick up some stuff relaxing.

Yesterday I made it to Peabody Museum. LG could not make it after all, so it took an hour and a half to get through it. The exhibits were great ( Read more... )

I started the cleaning before 10 basically Laundry and dusting. I waited until late in the day to vacuum. I still have to wash the floors but I think that can be done in the morning before I tackle the guest room/office.

I am so glad I won’t have to go out much today. It is currently 7 degrees and sunny and the temperature isn’t expected to go past 19 degrees. If I do go out it will be for a few groceries. I don’t need a lot this week. I still have pasta to make, and hamburgers, and fish I hope.

We got the monthly newsletter from the Association and we got the results from the election and the budget and the end results of landscapers. Apparently the previous company went out of business without telling their clients.  WE have a new landscaper and everything is right as rain. However, HOA Fees are going up $9. Everything was fine up to then.  First thing, as I was going grocery shopping I went to get my new sunglasses (the ones I bought on Amazon?) and one of the lenses falls out.  My first reaction was (insert whatever you want here).  Luckily it went back in and hasn’t fallen out since but it makes me so mad when things like this happen.  I guess I get ( Read more... )

As you know I have been procrastinating with the house cleaning this week because I felt I had time to do it or I could do it Wednesday or even next week. Well I can’t put it off until next Saturday. My dearest childhood friend is coming for a visit for a tour of the condo and lunch. I don’t even know what I am going to serve!

The house is ready to be put on the market. All the hard work for the last several weekends and even during the week has been completed. Liz’s cleaning crew came in yesterday and did a great job. I have had a sore throat since Wednesday afternoon. I had a cough that started just before my Dermatology app0intment on Wednesday. I told a few people that this has happened but I blame allergies.
